Embark on a journey back thru time to visit the remarkable art, architecture and
culture of India.
 Day
01: Delhi
Arrival in Delhi. Transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
Breakfast at hotel with introductions and orientation. Afternoon: Sightseeing
tour of Old and New Delhi, including Red Fort, Gates of India and riksha ride
thru the market in Old Delhi. Welcome dinner at Baujee ka Dhaba a traditional
rajasthani restaurant in the village Haus Kauz, south Delhi. Hotel Taj Palace.
Day 03: Mukundgarh
Breakfast at the hotel and depart by car. Visit
Mukundgarh including old Painted Havelis. Overnight Mandawa Castle
Day
04: Mukundgarh - Mandawa - Bikaner
Visit Bikaner and The Fort.
Day 05: Bikaner - Jaisalmer
Breakfast at the hotel and depart by car
for Jaisalmer. On arrival, transfer to Hotel.
Evening: free independent activities.
Day 06: Jaisalmer
Morning: sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer,
The Golden City of India, including Jain Temples and the Fort. Sunset: visit to
Chatris.
Day 07: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
Breakfast at hotel
and depart by car for Jodhpur. Upon arrival transfer to Hotel
Day
08: Jodhpur
Morning sightseeing tour of Jodhpur; afternoon independent
to stroll the quaint village.
Day 09: Jodphur - Ranakpur - Udaipur
Breakfast at hotel and depart by car for Udaipur. Enroute visit Ranakpur-Jain
Temple with 1444 pillars. On arrival in Udaipur, transfer to Hotel.
 Day
10: Udaipur
Morning city tour of Udaipur, including The Royal Palace,
Museum, Sahelion Ki Bari (The Ladies' Garden) and bazaars. Afternoon private boat
ride on Lake Pichola.
Day 11: Udaipur - Jaipur
Fly to Jaipur.
Dep 0810, ar 915. Drive to Samode Palace. After lunch walk to the charming village
nearby. Upon return from the village, have a palace tour, dinner & overnight.
Visit The Pink City of India, including the City Palace, Hawa Mahal
(The Palace of Winds) and the Jantar Mantar Observatory. Overnight Rambagh Palace
Day 12: Jaipur
Morning excursion to Amber Fort, including
elephant ride to the front gate; afternoon independent to relax, shop. Overnight
Rambagh Palace
Day 13: Jaipur - Fatehphur Sikri - Agra
Breakfast
at hotel and depart by car for Agra. Enroute visited The Deserted City, Fatehpur
Sikri. Taj View Hotel; rooms with a view of Taj Mahal
Day 14: Agra
Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. After early lunch
depart by car for Delhi. Arrive in Delhi by 5pm. Transfer to Raddison Hotel for
wash/change (shared rooms). Farewell cocktail hour anddinner. Transfer to International
Airport for flight home.
